Admission Process

Our straightforward admission process ensures every qualified student gets equal opportunity

1. Application

Submit completed application forms with required documents before the deadline

2. Entrance Exam

All applicants take our standardized entrance examination

3. Admission Letter

Successful candidates receive official admission letters

Detailed Admission Steps

Obtain Application Form

Forms available at school office or downloadable from our website. Required documents include:

  • Birth certificate
  • 4 recent passport photos
  • Previous school reports
  • Transfer letter (for transfers)

Submit Completed Form

Submit to school office with non-refundable application fee of TZS 50,000. Deadline for applications is November 30th each year.

Entrance Examination

All applicants sit for entrance exams in December. Exams cover English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. Special needs accommodations available.

Interview

Shortlisted candidates and parents attend interview in January. Bring original documents for verification.

Admission Notification

Successful candidates receive admission letters by February 1st. Includes fee structure and reporting requirements.

Admission Requirements

What you need to join Don Bosco Secondary School

Form I (O-Level)

  • Completed Standard VII with good grades
  • Minimum age of 13 years by March of admission year
  • Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLC)
  • Recommendation letter from previous school

Form V (A-Level)

  • Completed Form IV with Division I-III
  • Minimum of 5 passes in CSEE including English
  • Subject combinations meeting our requirements
  • Good conduct record from previous school
